RexShield V-Shield is a professional-grade, multi-component silicon-ceramic coating system engineered specifically for vinyl flooring environments. Based on the RexShield 3-Part Glossy system and enhanced with a specialized flow agent, V-Shield is designed to deliver uniform coverage and performance across highly porous vinyl surfaces.

Unlike traditional VCT floor systems that rely on multiple layers of wax and ongoing maintenance cycles, V-Shield provides a single-application solution that forms a continuous, durable barrier across the substrate. This system delivers long-term protection against staining, chemical exposure, and microbial growth while maintaining a consistent, high-gloss appearance.

V-Shield is ideal for use on Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT), Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), Quartz Vinyl Tile (QVT), sheet vinyl, welded seam vinyl, and linoleum. Once catalyzed, the system offers a working pot life of up to 7 days, allowing for flexible application across large floor areas.

Designed to significantly reduce or eliminate the need for routine waxing, stripping, and reapplication cycles, V-Shield provides a long-lasting surface solution for commercial and institutional environments.

Note: Surface must be fully stripped of existing waxes, sealers, or coatings prior to application to ensure proper bonding and performance.

Application Overview

1. Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is fully stripped of all existing waxes, sealers, and residues. The substrate must be clean, dry, and ready to accept the coating system.

2. Mixing (Base System)
Combine the first three components according to product instructions and mix thoroughly until fully catalyzed.

3. Add Flow Agent
Transfer the catalyzed mixture into a pump-up sprayer and add the flow agent (Part D). Agitate the mixture to ensure proper blending.

4. Application
Apply evenly across the surface using appropriate application equipment to achieve uniform coverage.

5. Leveling & Coverage
Ensure consistent distribution across the substrate to form a continuous, even coating. Avoid over-application or pooling.

6. Dry Time
Allow the surface to dry before light use. Dry time will vary depending on environmental conditions.

7. Cure Time
Full cure and maximum performance will develop over time as the coating system fully cross-links.

8. Inspection
Inspect the surface for uniform appearance, gloss level, and coverage.
