RexShield 3-Part Glossy (1170) is a high-performance silicon-ceramic treatment engineered to deliver maximum protection and durability for demanding surface environments. Designed as a three-component system, it provides superior resistance to staining, microbial growth, and UV-related fading.

This advanced coating restores surfaces to a near-original color and high-gloss finish, enhancing the depth and appearance of stone, grout, and concrete substrates. Its extreme hydrophobic properties help repel water and contaminants while increasing the coefficient of friction, resulting in a surface that remains slip-resistant even when wet.

RexShield 3-Part Glossy is suitable for both porous and non-porous substrates, including tile and grout, concrete, and natural stone. For best results, do not apply to polished granite or other highly polished stone surfaces.

Once catalyzed, the system offers an extended working pot life of up to 7 days, allowing for flexible application and consistent results across larger projects.

Application Overview

1. Surface Preparation
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants, including dirt, oils, and previous residues. Proper preparation is critical to achieving optimal adhesion and performance.

2. Mixing
Combine all three components according to product instructions and mix thoroughly to achieve a uniform solution. Once catalyzed, the system provides a working pot life of up to 7 days.

3. Application
Apply evenly using a microfiber applicator, pad, or appropriate tool. Work in manageable sections to ensure consistent coverage.

4. Leveling & Coverage
Ensure uniform distribution across the surface to achieve an even, high-gloss finish. Avoid over-application or allowing excess material to pool.

5. Dry Time
Allow the surface to dry before light use. Dry time will vary depending on environmental conditions.

6. Cure Time
Full cure and maximum performance will develop over time as the coating fully cross-links.

7. Inspection
Inspect the surface for uniform appearance, gloss level, and coverage across the substrate.

Note: Due to the high-performance nature of this system, proper mixing and application are critical to achieving optimal results. Always test in a small, inconspicuous area prior to full application.
